Plain summary
These are the rules of using Curb Cleans. Short version: we agree to show up on schedule and do good work, you agree to keep your property accessible and pay for the visits we complete. Either side can end the relationship anytime — no fees, no penalties. We carry general liability insurance.
If anything in the long version conflicts with this summary, treat it as a bug — tell us and we'll fix it.
1. Our service
Curb Cleans, LLC (“we”, “us”) provides recurring home-exterior cleaning — trash-bin cleaning, pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and solar-panel cleaning — on a recurring schedule, in the geographic areas listed at curbcleans.com/areas. Your plan covers the services you select. Wet services (bin cleaning and pressure washing) include 100% wastewater reclaim, and every visit includes photo proof.
Coverage areas change. If we discontinue service in your area, we'll notify you at least 14 days in advance and refund any prepaid visits we won't deliver.
2. Your account
To book service, you need to provide a valid email and a service address. You're responsible for keeping your contact info current. We send service-related communications (confirmations, schedule changes, photo proof) to the email on file — keep it monitored.
One account per service address. If you move within our coverage area, update the address; your plan transfers without re-onboarding.
3. Billing & cancellation
Your plan is a single recurring monthly subscription. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file each month for the services on your plan, less any automatic multi-service discount. No charge is run before your first visit is delivered.
- Billingruns monthly on the anniversary of your first visit. Quarterly services are amortized into that monthly price — it's your plan split into 12 equal monthly payments, not a charge for that month's service.
- Pausing is free and unlimited. No charges run while paused.
- Cancellationis free at any time — no contracts or fees. When you cancel, we refund any unused prepaid portion of your plan; we never keep money for visits we haven't delivered. See our refund policy for specifics.
- Failed paymentsare retried per Stripe's smart-retry schedule (typically 3 attempts over 7 days). After 7 days of failure, service is paused until payment is updated.
4. Property access
You agree to:
- Make the areas we're servicing accessible on your scheduled day — for example, bins out the day after collection, an outdoor faucet available for the wet services, and clear access to windows, gutters, or panels
- Notify us of gate codes, pet considerations, or access constraints via your portal
- Allow our technicians and equipment reasonable and safe access to the areas being serviced
If we can't access your property on your service day, we'll text you, wait briefly, and reschedule to the next cycle. You're not charged for visits we can't perform. Repeated inaccessibility (3+ consecutive cycles) may pause your account so charges don't accumulate.
5. Guarantee
If a visit doesn't meet our standard — visible build-up remains, streaks or residue left behind, photos don't show the difference — reply to the service-complete email within 7 days. We'll either re-clean for free or refund the visit, your choice. No questions.
This guarantee applies to service quality only. It does not cover pre-existing cosmetic damage (sun fade, melted plastic, paint, hard-water etching, factory-applied dyes), which cleaning cannot remove.
6. Liability
We carry general liability insurance and commercial auto coverage. If our team damages your property during service, contact us within 7 days with photos. We will repair or compensate per our insurance policy.
Our maximum liability for any service-related claim is the greater of: (a) the cost of the affected service visits, or (b) $500 — whichever is greater — except as required by law or covered by our liability policy.
We're not responsible for: damage from normal wear or pre-existing defects, items left inside bins (please empty them), or missed visits caused by weather or schedule changes outside our control.
7. Disputes
Before formal disputes, please email us. We resolve more than 99% of customer issues informally within 48 hours. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by JAMS in San Francisco, California, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Either party may bring small-claims actions in the small-claims court of Contra Costa County instead.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes (anything affecting billing, cancellation rights, or liability) will be emailed to you at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
