Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run the service well. We don't sell your data. Last updated May 1, 2026.

TL;DR

We collect your name, email, phone, service address, and payment method (via Stripe — we never see the card number). We use this to deliver service and tell you about it. We don't sell, rent, or trade your data with marketers. You can request a copy or full deletion any time by emailing privacy@curbcleans.com.

1. What we collect

Account info

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Service address (street, city, state, ZIP, geocoded lat/lng for routing)
  • Plan choices, bin count, scheduling preferences

Service info

  • Visit history (date, time, technician, notes)
  • Before/after photos of your bins, taken on-site by our technicians
  • Customer service messages you send us

Payment info

Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive a tokenised payment method ID — we never see or store your full card number, CVC, or expiry. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Technical info

When you use our website or portal: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer. Used for security, debugging, and rough aggregate analytics. We do not build advertising profiles from this data.

2. How we use it

  • Deliver service: route the right technician, deliver photos, send reminders
  • Bill for visits performed
  • Communicate about your account (service emails, magic-link sign-ins, SMS for arrival windows)
  • Improve the service: aggregated metrics on visit timing, customer satisfaction
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax, stormwater compliance reporting)

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising, profile-based ad targeting, or to train AI models on your personal data.

3. Who we share with

We will share information when required by valid legal process (e.g., subpoena). We'll notify you unless legally prohibited.

We do not share, sell, or rent personal information to marketers, data brokers, or advertising platforms.

4. Retention

  • Account data: kept while your account is active, then 12 months after cancellation for tax and compliance, then deleted.
  • Visit photos: 90 days while active. Deleted immediately on cancellation unless you request otherwise.
  • Payment records: 7 years, as required for tax records.
  • Support correspondence: 24 months from last contact.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time and at no cost:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold on you
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention obligations for billing records)
  • Export your visit history and photos as a downloadable archive
  • Opt outof non-essential communications (marketing emails). Service emails — confirmations, photo proof, billing — can't be turned off while your account is active

Email privacy@curbcleans.com to exercise any of these. We respond within 30 days.

You have the right to know what categories of personal info we collect (listed above), the right to delete it (subject to legal retention exceptions), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by the CCPA.

6. Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies:

  • Essential: session token for signed-in customers
  • Functional: remembering your address autocomplete prefs
  • Analytics: aggregate page-view counts via Plausible (no individual tracking, no fingerprinting, no third-party cookies)

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking.
